We had another very successful and productive meeting with the APA in Melbourne this week. Thanks to a dedicated committee volunteering their time of some of the most experience Animal Physiotherapists around Australia. This is my 3rd year as Chair of the Animal physio group and I am very proud of what we have achieved professionally.

Our main aim of this day was to develop our level 2 APA Animal Physiotherapy course as our ongoing educational pathway to be an APA Titled Animal Physiotherapist. We hope to have this up and running early next year. We have announced our next level 1 course to be run in melbourne this year Nov 7-10. The last 2 courses have been very full and there is a considerable amount of pre-req information to get through so if you are interested I suggest you don’t dilly dally! You must be a human physio first as this is post-grad training to be an animal physio in Australia.

Thanks again to all involved I look forward to further developing our profession throughout the rest of the year.
