Welcome to Holistic Animal Physiotherapy!
Animal Physiotherapy is an emerging and rapidly growing profession in Australia. It works in much the same way as widely recognised Physiotherapy in human medicine. Physiotherapists undertake postgraduate qualifications in order to specialise in Animal Physiotherapy (Brooke has completed her Masters in Animal Studies – Physiotherapy in 2005). The same conditions are assessed and treated with a specialised knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and rehabilitation.
We are located on the Sunshine Coast Qld and strive to provide complete rehabilitation options for you and your pet.

Our Rehabilitation Centre
We are very excited to present to you our purpose built complete animal rehabilitation centre on the Sunshine coast
Our Mission:
We are passionate about providing exceptional animal rehabilitation services to the veterinary industry and pet owners. Our experience stands for itself.
We provide a common-sense holistic approach to your pet’s complete rehabilitation and strive to understand your animal’s key issues. To achieve this, we make major efforts to collaborate with the veterinary team, keep up to date with evidence based practice, have the highest trained staff in the industry, and constantly strive to improve our quality of service. We have a genuine interest and care for animals.
We respect and support the enduring bond between animals and those who care for them, and take the time to listen and understand the needs of each animal. We positively support and educate the owners, hence encourage self-management to maximise their recovery. By doing this we believe we will be able to shape the future of animal physiotherapy and rehabilitation and maximise the quality of life of our animals.
Our Values:
Integrity and respect – we have the courage to do what is right, be accountable for our actions, and communicate honestly and courteously. This is the foundation of trust and authenticity.
Empathy – the foundation of compassionate healthcare professionals
Quality – the foundation of evidence-based, whole patient treatment
Teamwork – the foundation of ultimate veterinary care
Performance – the foundation of healthy patients and striving to provide the best possible service in veterinary rehabilitation
Brooke as the Director, has been a human Physiotherapist since 1997, and specialises in Animal Physiotherapy. She is amongst Australia’s leading Physiotherapists in the Veterinary Rehabilitation industry. Brooke is heavily involved in teaching other human Physiotherapists in post-graduate studies in Australia and via correspondence in UK, teaching Veterinary nurses and Veterinarians in rehabilitation, and has enjoyed playing a fundamental role for establishing this new field in Australia. She has always had a passion and affinity for animals.
It has been a long term goal to open up a purpose built rehabilitation centre that opened in 2019 in Nambour Sunshine Coast after working in many Veterinary Specialist centres across south east QLD for 16 years.
