Missie Cameo - Dr Harry (Better Homes and Gardens)

Brooke Marsh - Thursday, February 24, 2011
Well my missie finally had her cameo appearance. Last year we had some filming for the episode on Animal Physiotherapy for Better Homes and Gardens.  Unfortuately time ran out to include her action at Shelley Beach.  They decided to use a bit of this for their episode last friday on Dog Beach Etiquette.  A strange coincidence that Shelley Beach is where she had her spinal injury a month ago.  I set her up infront of the TV and assured her we will work hard to get back to that swimming and playing at the beach.  She is doing well so I hope I can carry out my promise!
If you missed it you might like to view on their website: http://au.lifestyle.yahoo.com/better-homes-gardens/tv/video-archive/. Keep your eyes open (it is quick!) but she is the most beautiful dog - chocolate kelpie leaping into the water....
Go Missie!

Dr Harry on holistic treatment for dogs
Alternative medicine is growing hugely popular, but it’s not just humans that can benefit from these treatments – your dog can too! Dr Harry shows how physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and even acupuncture can be used to treat a whole range of common canine problems, with astounding results! So if your four-legged friend has a sports injury or painful arthritis, this might be the solution you’ve been looking for!

Watch segment

It was exciting to see all the lovely dogs star. This was great exposure for the new profession of Animal Physiotherapy to bring awareness that there is so much we can do to help our 4 legged friends.  Any feedback appreciated. Thanks to all involved in putting this episode together.... especially the now famous pooches!

cheers

EPISODE THIS FRIDAY BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS!!

Brooke Marsh - Monday, October 25, 2010

An exciting end and start to the week.
If you are able don't forget to watch Better Homes and Gardens this Friday night for the episode with Dr Harry. I am amazed at all the efforts the team have gone to.  Such an incredible amount of work for this episode and very professionally handled from beginning to end. I am a bit nervous to see myself on telly to be honest but excited at the same time!
And a massive thanks to all my lovely dogs and owners who participated in the filming. We had such a lovely day and i hope their pooches enjoy their moment of fame!
Enjoy!!

Dr Harry and Better Homes and Gardens: Filming

Brooke Marsh - Tuesday, August 17, 2010

Wow what an exciting weekend!

I was approached by Better Homes and Gardens to do a special on Animal Physiotherapy and rehabilitation with Dr Harry. It was such a privilege to work with this professional and friendly team. This was filmed at NCVS this weekend and is aiming to be shown on Friday 29th October (at this stage)

I was very grateful for the attention to detail covering this story and the opportunity to improve awareness to the public of rehabilitation options for their 4 legged friends.

Thanks so much for all your time and efforts. A very big thankyou to all the owners and pooches I have treated who gave up their weekend for a possible moment of fame!

I had a great time and was honored to share some time with Dr Harry.
